Mass Killing
Throughout Francisco Franco's military dictatorship, a kill tally has provided further information regarding statistical evidence for individuals today. It can be concluded that tens to hundreds of thousands of citizens were killed during his reign. Estimations fall between 500,000 and two million executed alone during the Spanish Civil War; also, 35,000 were said to have been killed either summarily or after a hasty court martial. The Spaniards enjoyed few rights under his rule, and the use of war tactics and military involvement resulted in the controversial death number throughout Spain.
